• Avoid contact with water or humidity: never wash your hands, shower, or swim while wearing your Ananao piece. Do not leave it in the bathroom, as steam and moisture can weaken the thread and affect the shine of the beads.

• Keep away from sweat: avoid wearing your jewellery to the gym or during activities that may cause perspiration. Sweat can dull the beads and weaken the structure of the piece as well of changes in colour.

• Apply products beforehand: never put on your piece immediately after using creams, lotions, or perfumes. Wait until the product is fully absorbed and your skin is dry.

• Protect from chemicals and perfumes: never spray perfume directly onto your Ananao piece. Alcohol and oils can discolour or damage the beads.

• Handle with care: Miyuki beadwork is delicate and entirely handmade. Avoid pulling, bending, or exposing it to unnecessary pressure.

• Prevent scratches: avoid rubbing the piece against hard or rough surfaces to protect the beads’ polished finish.

• Store it separately: keep each piece in a soft pouch or individual box, away from sunlight, heat, and other jewellery to prevent tangling or friction.
